A pleasant walk from Victoria to Westminster, taking in Westminster Cathedral and Parliament Square.
From Victoria exit onto Willow Walk and pub1. Exit the rear of Wetherspoons and follow Vauxhall Bridge Road South, passed Brass Monkey & Jugged Hare is on left. Leave pub and turn left up Rochester Row and 2nd left up Stillington Street. Turn right at the top and you are at The Cardinal. Leave here over the road and up Ambrosden Avenue running alongside the impressive Catholic Cathedral. At the top bear slightly right under the plush offices and cross the main Victoria Street and up Palace Street until the Cask and Glass on the right. This pub and the next 3 offer brilliant contrasts to each other.

Leave the pub and bear left up Wilfred Street, cross Buckingham Gate to Petty France and Colonies and Buckingham Arms. Carry on up Petty France turning left down Broadway, cross Victoria Street for 2nd time and you reach Monks Exchange and the Strutton. Carry on south turning left up Great Peter Street until you reach the Speaker. Turn left up Perkins Rents, cross Old Pye Street up Abbey Orchard and hit Victoria Street again. Bare right and then left Dacre Street and right fork up Dean Farrar Street before turning right up Tothill Street to the Sanctuary House. Continue up Tothill Street, turn left on main Broad Sanctuary & follow to Parliament Square. Follow the Square to the opposite corner and St Stephens Tavern and Westminster tube are on adjoining Bridge Street.
