Title: London's Beautiful Pubs
Creator: Will Larter

Description:
The title of this crawl is taken from a list I saw - I'm sure there were more than six pubs on it, but these are the six that I made a note of, and I have not been able to find the list again! I set out to do the route by tube, but misjudged one or two of the distances from tube stations, then arrived at the sixth and last pub half an hour before opening time. (If I had known about this map http://content.tfl.gov.uk/walking-tube-map.pdf I might have done better.) Other than that, I think it was a pretty good route. If I ever find the full list again, I might have a go at a few more.

The Victoria (1)
A short walk from Paddington station, which I reached via Hammersmith & City line from St Pancras..
Windsor Castle (2)
A short walk from Notting Hill Gate tube station, which I reached via the District line from Paddington.
The Tabard (3)
Just around the corner from Turnham Green tube station, again on the District line but I had to change at Earl's Court.
The Salisbury (4)
I took the District line to Embankment then Northern to Leicester Square, but changing to Piccadilly line at South Kensington would be an option once the escaltor replacement works there have finished.
The Viaduct Tavern (5)
St Paul's is probably the nearest tube station, changing from Piccadilly to Central line at Holborn, but for some reason I walked from Holborn, which took me about 15 minutes.
The Salisbury Hotel (6)
I took a main line (Cambridge) train from City Thameslink, which is quite close to the previous pub, changing to Piccadilly at Finsbury Park. The pub is a 10 minute walk from Turnpike Lane tube, but there are frequent buses along Green Lanes.
