Title: Let's All Go Down the Strand
Creator: Will Larter

Description:
Taken from Chapter 2 of Discovering London's Inns and Taverns by John Wittich (1996 edition). Only six of the original 12 pubs featured in the book are still pubs, with the Savoy Hotel and Rule's Restaurant on Maiden Lane not really pubs to start with, the Hogshead on Wellington Street now a cocktail bar, the George Adelphi in George Court now a drag queen venue, the Peacock on Maiden Lane a burger joint, and the Punch & Judy in Covent Garden Market having recently closed.
