Title: A walk along the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal from either Crickhowell or Talybont-on-Usk, via Pencelli to Brecon.
Creator: Steve of N21

Description:
This is a very flat picturesque walk along the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal that affords some excellent views of the Brecon beacons as you get closer to Brecon. If staying in Brecon you can take the No43 bus to Crickhowell for the full 10 mile walk or get off at Talybont-on-Usk for the shorter 6 and ½ mile stroll. If you have time, both the canal side pubs in Talybont are worth a visit, but if you only have time for one, then it should be the Star inn.
Fortunately Brecon is still blessed with pubs but have suggested the Clarendon Arms for its beer and good food rep and the Boars Head for good Welsh ales and its very good secluded patio garden with views of The Usk and the Beacons beyond
