Title: Derbyshire and the Peak District by minibus 2013
Creator: Will Larter

Description:
The latest in a series of annual minibus pub crawls, starting from and returning to Sheffield.

Switch to route map:

Arkwright Arms (1)
A multiple award-winning pub just outside Chesterfield. Opens at 11 every day and there is a great choice of beers and ciders available.
The Shoulder Of Mutton (2)
Another award-winning but quite small pub on the edge of Shirland. When I phoned to enquire if it would be all right for 16 pub crawlers to descend on them, the landlady said, “well, it's a pub, isn't it?”.
The Bulls Head (3)
A former coaching inn that has been bought by the owners of the Shottle Farm Brewery, which has been going since late 2011.
Yew Tree Inn (4)
A traditional stop on these trips, relished for its eccentricity, the pub shuts at 3pm, so we'll be arriving in plenty of time for last orders.
Den Engel (5)
First of up to four pubs during a one hour stop in Leek.
The Cock Inn (6)
Not far from Den Engel.
Roebuck Hotel (7)
Conveniently opposite the Cock.
The Wilkes Head (8)
An old favourite, and the pick up point for the minibus after the Leek walkabout.
Quiet Woman (9)
The landlady agreed to stay open an extra half hour for us (normal closing time on a Sunday is 5pm).
The Red Lion Inn (10)
Another old favourite and the penultimate stop of the day.
The Strines Inn (11)
Final pub of the day, at the head of Bradfield Dale. From here it's a fairly quick journey back into Sheffield.
