The George Tapps, Bournemouth

Large split level pub towards the top of Old Christchurch Road. Seems to cater towards Bournemouth's booming binge drinking industry, having been kitted out with a vast number of large screens showing all manner of sports and being packed with stag parties and drunken students. Three ales were on - Bombardier, Courage and Pedigree - the first of which was undrinkable and the last of which was tolerable despite being too cold and in a plastic glass. The whole place could do with a good tidy up, not least in the gents, where staff had to take it in turn to be on constant mop duty. Better than a lot of the nearby drinking barns, but that's not really a compliment.
