Strike, Wandsworth, SW18

I paid a very short visit to this place recently on my way to the Sambrook's taproom. The photos pretty much say it all. No real ale obviously. The name of the place is clearly a reference to the fact that there's a four lane bowling alley upstairs. The lanes weren't in use when I visited, and appeared to be a work in progress judging by the boarding and other stuff lying around the place. I'm not sure that the lanes were regulation length, but I could be wrong as it's not apparent from the photo that they are shorter than is usual. Anyway, it's clearly not a place that a serious bowler would want to patronise as I suspect they won't be dressing the lanes. Not my sort of place, but I'm sure it will appeal to a lot of people.
