Minimalistic cafe style micro with an exceptional beer list. I'm here to visit the 5 GBG entries in town but could have done worse than stop here. Sierra Nevada Celebration, Deya and Kernal could have been sampled on keg but I went for an excellent Vocation Yorkshire Bitter on Cask.

A modern shop unit in the Westgate Arcade,the interior does have a Scandi feel,open plan on two levels with modern furniture and a bright floor with the bar to the left hand side.The star here is the beer options with six ale choices and 24 kegs lines if my maths is good.The keg selections are described on a wall mounted beer list to the left of the bar. The barman was certainly very friendly and besides beer is happy to serve decent coffee.On my visit the real ale options were Thornbridge Jaipur,Salopian Shropshire Gold,Atom Golden Ratio,Dorking Surrey XPA,The Coven Cherry Pie High and a very decent BrewYork Calmer Chameleon (NBSS 4.5).Rightly in the 2023 GBG and should always be included in any ale tour of Town.

Three level narrow bar built on a slope. The top level has just one table, the middle has two and the bottom one has the bar and a few more along with a few barstools. Bare blue painted walls on my visit which made it look a bit stark with quite a bit of echo. It needs some soft furnishings and wall art. Having said that, the barman was very friendly, all six handpumps were on the go and my pint was in good mick for a reasonable £3.60. I'll be coming here again soon.
