The Eagle, Warwick

The Eagle is a small micro cellar bar under an arch on a path opposite the much larger Globe pub. The barman at the Globe actually suggested that I visit here, I didn’t tell him I’d already been. North Cotswold Brewery’s Windrush Ale, TT Landlord Dark and Church End Brewery’s Spiders Have Feelings Too were available from the three hand pumps. Craft keg was also available, but I decided to try the SHFT which was on top form. There was a good atmosphere with some chat and low background music from the likes of the Rolling Stones during my recent Sunday evening visit. Well worth a look.

Small cellar bar with 3 ales on. Salopian Kalon, Screech Owl and Bards Best on offer. The Salopian was excellent. I really liked it in here. Well worth seeking out and a must do in Warwick for me!

Apparently Warwick's smallest pub. It certainly is tiny with it being a one roomed cellar bar. An arched stone ceiling and various medieval type stylings make it an interesting place. One handpull on the bar, though there were 3 unused handpulls behind the bar. Slaughterhouse beer being your beer. Pavement seating out front available. I liked it.
