Andys' Ale House, Walsall

A micropub housed in a former shopping centre unit. Small by definition, there is a square room (which can get noisy with just a few people in) populated with tables (and barrels used as tables) with chairs, stools and a couple of sofas. A few local history photos on the wall provide interest. Service is very friendly and the clientele is very mixed. Cobs and Scotch Eggs are available - but then there is food available in the shopping precinct. The small bar area houses a number of gins, along with a few real ciders. Moving onto the real ale, the only thing I am really interested in, there are 5 handpulls that rotate regularly - with generally one dark and four lighter ones of differing hoppyness. Beer quality is always consistent and it makes a great addition to the local ale imbibing culture.
