Handymans Supermarket, Liverpool

Originally back in the day this was a builders merchants. The interior is quite spacious with a high open roof space and the building extending quite a way towards the rear. Once though the main door you enter a lobby area, with sacks of malted barley stacked up along the wall. The main front drinking area consisted of a the bar area facing you with white tiles along the bar front and a mezzanine floor above displaying their brewery kit. The floors were boarded, seating was long tables with old school stools, along with high tables and stools along the front window. Four handpumps serving Brass Castle Misfit and Three Handyman beers Amber, Porter and Pale. I went for the Pale which was in great shape, but the hop flavouring wasn't really to my palette, so didn't warrant another pint.
