The Master Thatcher, Holway Park, Taunton

The Master Thatcher is a fairly large new build pub that is away from the centre of Taunton. Once inside the pub is open plan with different drinking areas,the seating is comfy bench type and normal tables and chairs. The pub was a Palmers tied house when i visited it,there were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Palmers Best which went down very well after the walk from the middle of Taunton,the other beers were Palmers 200 and Palmers Copper. The pub is food orientated,but is very welcome to normal drinkers. Well worth the walk,i do like doing Palmers tied houses. Pub visited 11/8/2001
