Rendezvous, Sheerness

Previously a club, a shop and a cafe-grill, this pub now caters mainly for the yoofs of Sheerness. The hall it occupies has a small seating area at the front which affords a prime view of the Salvation Army hall opposite for those who aren't sure about drinking. The hall is square inside, mostly carpeted. A lot is crammed in – bar billiards, pool, darts and gaming machines are all available, making it feel a bit like an amusement arcade. Illumination by day is provided by a huge window to the front. The staff are mainly pleasant, the building is frayed around the edges. There is no real ale and I don't think I'll be rushing back.
