66 Bar, Bingley

Small but not quite a micro-pub housed in an odd converted shop unit. The small L shaped counter has two handpulls but the beer is stillaged behind the counter and most is dispensed by gravity so no big Yorkshire heads or waiting for top-ups as the cream eventually settles. All casks are fitted with cooling jackets and the beer quality is very good. Cider and perry are also sold but no wines or spirits and definitely no keg beer, after all the sign says "Real Ale Freehouse". The walls are breeze block, painted red beneath the dado rail and cream above in traditional pub style, the utilitarian roof is visible and the floor is a laminate. Furnishing is simple, there are 5 sets of modern kitchen tables and chairs in light wood, decor is pump clips, posters and beer adverts. It was deservedly Bradford CAMRA's pub of the season in spring 2013.
