Bar 13, Settle

This very narrow shop conversion is easily missed when passing through Settle - it's on the main road just a few doors along from the Lion. Although its main function is as a cafe, there are three hand pumps on the bar and it has won awards from the local branch of Camra. All the beers on offer when we visited were from local breweries: Goose Eye Chinook, Dark Horse Best and Three Peaks Ingleborough Gold. I had the Dark Horse, which was in good condition and at a similar price to other pubs in town. Check out opening times on their website: Thirteen is not open on Sundays (though is available for private hire), and although Friday and Saturday are normal pub hours, opening and closing times vary on the other days through the week.
