The Taps, Enfield

There were too many menacing wide eyed locals in here that were arguing amongst themselves and talking themselves up during my visit. It's a shame as the barmaid was very friendly and I spotted three plasma screens which were showing muted Sky Sports as some decent old tunes were playing on the speakers. Like most Irish bars this place has no real ale, but my Guinness was up to standard and it didn't break the bank. I'll be avoiding this place in future or at least until the management realise that most people don't enjoy a threatening atmosphere whilst enjoying a pint.
