I popped into here late Saturday afternoon and doubled the attendance. It certainly looked more like a music venue to me with blacked out windows and low tables that looked a little out of place on what seemed like a dance floor. The barmaid was very friendly, but there is only a standard draught range and the actual bar area is very small for the size of the pub and I can imagine quite a queue forming when it gets busier. I have been past here on the bus late at night on my way home from other pubs and there is usually some rope segregating a smoking crowd from the public path, but there is also a courtyard out the back that leads to a large opened up garage area that has some wall sofas and tables. The Guinness was good, but I didn't really enjoy being dragged to these places by my mates when I was younger and I'm even more averse to them now.
