Square & Compass, Swadlincote

The Square and Compass was a decent looking white painted pub when i visited it. The pub looked like an ex Ind Coope/Ansells tied house from the outside by the look of the pubs name letters. Once inside the pub had two decent rooms with a smallish bar and a more comfortable lounge,i had a drink in the lounge which was quite a nice room to drink in. There was one real ale on the bar which was Pedigree,this was a decent drink. The pub still looks open,but i think it is now used as an antiques centre with a cafe,which is a great shame.
