The White Lady (JD Wetherspoon), Corstorphine, Edinburgh

This is a JDW Hotel that is unhelpfully listed as Central Edinburgh in their directory, probably for "commercial reasons" as their PR bloke always says when they are trying to justify shutting an outlet down. Corstorphine is a few miles West of Haymarket and Murrayfield so don't be fooled. It's a large rectangular room that is rather dark at the rear, the bar on the right and raised areas to the rear and left. Obviously being a hotel the toilets are on the Ground Floor. There are just eight hand pumps here which on my visit had one unused, Abbot, Deuchar's IPA, Skye Red, Black Wolf Rok IPA and Williams Bros March Of The Penguins. I picked up a Penguin which came as part of a food deal but would have been £2.25. It was in excellent condition. It's a good Spoons but their attempts to claim it as being in Central Edinburgh just because it's a hotel are pathetic and deceitful.
