The Nelson, Norwich

The Nelson is a large modern pub that is next to the river,the pub is accessed by going down some steps from the bridge and not by going in costa coffee which is on street level,which is what i tried doing. Once inside there was a very large room with the bar facing,there was a dining area to the front right,there were mainly tall tables and chairs. The pub had a modern look to it making it look like lots of other pubs. There was only one real ale on here this was Woodforde's Wherry and this was a decent drink. The pub was fairly busy early Saturday evening. This is not really the sort of pub i like going in but it is handy for the train station. Pub visited 30/6/2012
