The Clock House, East Dulwich, SE22

The Clock House is a large looking pub that is in a decent location opposite Peckham Rye commom. Once inside there was a small L shaped room to the front which had normal tables and chairs,there was a small raised area to the right which had similar seating,there was a larger seperate room to the rear which was more modern looking compared to the front bar,i would have thought the rear room would be favoured by diners. The pub is a Youngs /Charles Wells tied house,there were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Youngs bitter which was decent enough but did'nt match the Wandsworth brewed beers that i can remember,the other beers were Youngs Special and Bombardier. There was a decent amount of drinkers in the front bar which is a pleasant enough room to drink in,the rear room was almost empty. Pub visited 25/1/2014
