Grand Central, Paignton

Apparently Grand Central was converted from an amusement arcade circa 2005. I visited on Saturday just before midnight a couple of weeks ago and the average age was what I would expect in an amusement arcade. I walked in as the bouncers dragged some drunken yoof out onto the street and found myself in a generic bar with standard draught and head thumping loud music from a disco set up at the rear. There is a plasma screen that was off and I didn’t see any Sky advertisements. Cheap food is available and a half eaten buffet was set up at the rear for some reason, maybe there was an eighteenth birthday party. I avoided this bar for the rest of my holiday in Paignton.
