The Station, Uckfield

Euro 2016 is heavily advertised on the exterior so I wasn’t surprised to see lots of flags and a small crowd watching the end of Albania v Switzerland on multiple flat screen televisions during a recent Saturday afternoon visit. It was not the most interesting match so a few of the locals were playing pool on a table located to the right of the entrance. The bar located on the rear wall supports a standard and premium keg range and Greene King’s Purple Reign alongside Morland Original. Hardly surprising as this is a GK pub that comes complete with their ‘reasonably priced’ national food menu. Deals such as two meals for a tenner are available all day every day. To the right of the pub is a patio garden with seating which was empty due to the inclement weather. This is the only pub in the village that was showing football, which is its only draw.
