The Rising Sun, Bristol

The Rising Sun is a fairly large and smart looking pub that is opposite a park and close Bristol Citys Aston Gate ground. Once inside there is a long oblong shaped room which runs the width of the pub,the bar faces on entry,there is a pool table to the left and large TV which was showing the Norwich v Liverpool game. The seating is normal tables and chairs,there is also a small raised area to the front right,there is a separate square shaped room to the rear right which is bare boarded,there is also a decent sized function room to the rear left. There were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Exmoor Ale which went down very well,the other beers were Bath Ales Gem and Otter Bitter. This is a very smart and comfortable pub to have a drink in. Pub visited 23/1/2016
