Impressive-looking corner pub best known for its heritage tiled bar counter and Victorian bar-back. However, much of the interior was otherwise refurbished with an unsympathetic light look that is now showing its age. There is also a modernised lounge / dining room at the back and an upstairs function room, but the real ale is long gone as has the bowling green at the back.
