The Full Moon & Attic Bar, Stokes Croft, Bristol

The Full Moon is a very large pub with a nice mural covering all of its outside walls with stars. There is a pay booth at the entrance but not in use on my Saturday afternoon visit. Once inside the main bar is oblong shaped and runs to the rear,the bar faces on entry,this long room is roughly divided into three areas by walls,the front area has normal tables and chairs,with the middle area having a few settees and more normal tables and chairs,there is a pool table to the far rear. There was a decent choice of real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Dawkins Bristol Gold which went down well,the other beers noted were Steam Box Soul Train and Steam Box Piston Broke,there were a couple of other real ales i failed to note. There was a decent band playing at the front of the room in what was called the battle of the bands,they only did two songs before the next band came on,it was a shame the pub was not that busy despite the free live bands to watch. I thought this was a decent pub to have a drink in. Pub visited 25/6/2016
