The Esquire House (JD Wetherspoon), Anniesland, Glasgow

Apparently this was an original pub despite the fact that it looks more like a public library. I wonder if the original pub had the same name, presumably taken from the American men's magazine. Unusually it has a car park at the front. Inside it's a bland L shaped room with fairly typical fixtures and fittings. The bar has ten hand pumps which had three available soon, one unused, the Scottish JDW Trio Of Doom, Skye Red & Gold and Kelburn Cart Blanche. I went for the Cart Blanche (£2.35) which was in good enough nick. It's not a bad suburban Spoons, at least it had some Scottish beers.
