The Midland, Wrexham

Definitely the 2nd best of the two Wrexham 'spoons. The high ceiling gives a very noisy atmosphere to the place. The nearest toilet is in the Golden Lion next door! Of the five handpumps, only one was a changing guest beer on my visit. The saving grace is that the Weetwood Cheshire Cat guest was in excellent condition and slightly better than in the other 'spoons later on.

Well positioned JDW pub with a poor selection of cask beers (5 and 2 of those were Ruddles and Abbotts)Basically a large one roomed affair with a couple of areas at the bottom slightly segregated.Quite featurless this one,but perhaps the best feature is the two stained glass areas on the very high ceiling. The toilets are on the top floor and i think i counted 37 steps.
