The Sir William de Wessyngton (JD Wetherspoon), Concord, Washington

This pub is named after some local big shot from hundreds of years ago. Although it was previously a snooker hall I suspect that the building was constructed as two shops. It's an old school JDW with the old plastic signage outside and consisting of a roughly square room inside with a narrower dining area at the back leading to a patio. It's typical of most JDWs from the 1990s but was most likely opened early this century. The bar on the left hand side has ten hand pumps which had three available soon, the two GK beers, a cider and four festival beers. I went for the Mordue Centennial (£1.99 festival price) which was in good nick. Despite being fairly unexceptional as a building I thought this one was OK. It's GBG 2017 listed.
