The Packhorse Inn (JD Wetherspoon), Sleaford

The Packhorse is a large old pub that is at the top end of the main shopping street. The entrance to this pub is up a few steps and once inside there was one very long room the front area had leather settees plus normal tables and chairs,there was no bar in this area,further back and up a couple of steps took you to the bar this was on the left and it was quite long,the seating in this area was normal spoons type with tall tables and chairs closest to the bar and smaller ones along the back wall. There were 8 real ales on the bar three normal spoons ones and five guest beers i had a drink of Brewsters Hop A Doodle Doo and this was a very nice dink,the other guest beers were Brewsters Decadance, Brewsters Rutterkin, Springhead Roaring Meg and Springhead Maid Marrion Blonde. The service was very poor with us having to wait about 10 minutes to get a drink and this was before the main dinnertime rush had started. As far as spoons go i thought this was a fairly decent one.
