To the left of the central front entrance is a seating area and to the right is an L-shaped bar counter that runs along the front of the pub. This bar faces seating to the right and rear and centrally in the rear of the pub is a room with banquette seating. Televisions are found throughout for showing live football, a lower league game was muted during my visit in December. There was background music. The bar supports standard and premium keg and the five hand pumps were drawing Greene King IPA, Beartown Brewery’s Lit, Brightside’s Brewdolph, Black Sheep’s Best and Spitting Feather’s Brainstorm. Food is also available, I had a bacon cheeseburger and a pint which came in at around £14. The service was very polite and the surroundings were comfortable so I’d return.
