A quite decorative, or garish corner pub, depending on your view. It is in brick, grey, red and orangey colour, with a nice beer patio at the back. The interior simply curves around a central wood bar, with a decor of (mainly) white, red, wallpapered and wood panel, with moulded ceiling. There is a wood floor, old pictures and a cheap food menu, for which it seemed to be set-up for. There was Sky TV, music was at a decent level, service OK and the clientele mixed. Beer; usual tap stuff, with a good Spekky Hen on handpull, as well as Tetley Cask. This is just a bit of a non-entity, the kind of place you would start off, or visit for one if waiting at the station.
