Travellers Rest, Leeds

The Travellers Rest is is a fairly large roadside pub that is uphill from the middle of Armley. Once inside there is a large U shaped room with the bar facing,the room is carpeted and the seating is mainly normal tables and chairs,there are a few american diner seats to the right,there is a pool table and darts board to the rear right. There were six real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Ilkley Mary Jane which went down very well,the other beers were Leeds Pale,Taylor Landlord,GK IPA,GK Abbot and Old Speckled Hen. Food was being served but you can have a drink anywhere in the pub,the pub is also child friendly. Background music was playing and the pub was very busy on my late Saturday afternoon visit with drinkers and diners. This is a decent enough pub to have a few drinks in. Pub visited 20/6/2015
