Horn & Trumpet, Worcester

The Horn and Trumpet is a largish pub that is in the middle of Worcester. Once inside there were a couple of rooms and i had a drink in the room at the front which was fairly large and comfortable,this pub is a Marstons tied house and there were four real ales on here i had a drink of Pedigree and this was a very nice drink the other beers were Marstons bitter, Banks's bitter and Banks's mild. The pub was fairly quiet on my visit as it was early saturday dinnertime. Pub visited 30/12/2000

Nothing has changed in two years apart from the staff and the prices which are still competitive. Marstons Bitter and Mild are amongst the best I have tasted.

A city centre pub located near the bus station and market and as such attracts a varied clientelle. It is all on one level with a long main bar area to the rear and two smaller areas on entry. Inexpensive food is available until about 6pm.Cheapest bottle of wine at under a fiver,a couple of guest ales and a good selection of keg beers and lager. Known localy as the "Bawd and Strumpet" ( a much better name dont you think )it can get very lively at the weekend on evenings. Wheelchair access is a tight chicane at the front door.
