The Swan, Kidderminster

One of a couple of pubs in the village of Blakedown, this one has now dropped out of the Good Beer Guide. A CAMRA discount is still offered and during our visit, a guy from the local branch popped in to replenish stocks of the local CAMRA magazine. However, the choice of real ale did not match, with Rocking Rudolph being the only option. There are a number of different sections in the pub, but there appears to be a focus on dining. Our visit was mid-afternoon. So, the only diners remaining had just finished their meals. Quite a few used glasses on the bar suggested that the pub had been busy a little earlier, but it was quiet by the time we got there. There's a large car park to the right-hand side of the pub and some outdoor drinking space too. Nothing really to attract me back here though.
