Brown Jack, Swindon

As the great Mr W pointed out, The Brown Jack has an attractive exterior, but the interior is a disapointment.It is rather plain and tired looking. At the time of writing, there are 3 pumps, but only two in operation, Doom Bar and Bath Gem. As I was pushed for time, I opted for a diet coke, which came in a can. There is not much more I can add, other than the friendly bar staff, who were happy to let me use their facilities without buying a drink. I bought one anyway.

This pub is just up the hill from the main road.The pub looked alright and oldish from the outside but once inside here the place had been ruined it had been opened out and had bare pine flooring all the pub furniture was modern looking making this pub seem cold. There were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Youngs bitter which was a decent drink the other beer was Ruddles County. In my opinion this pub has been ruined by having a modern makeover.
