Hothampton Arms, Bognor Regis

Although some of the signage as gone amiss the pub is still open according to the website

With the moniker ‘Jack’s Beer and Burger Joint’ I was expecting a bar full of hipsters eating brioche burgers from breadboards. To be honest I couldn’t have been further from the truth; I should have remembered that his is Bognor not Hoxton. No real ale was available from the bar, just standard keg alongside Peroni and Hacker-Pschorr. Plasma screens for showing Sky Sports are located throughout and there is a pool table and dartboard. A small stage is found to the right of the entrance for live music. I found the service to be polite, but some of the other punters left a lot to be desired. This is one of my least favourite pubs in Bognor.
