This is a detached Victorian pub with patio area. The pub, under the same name, has been aroud since the 1880s at least. It is in a cream upper, with bow windows and classic Victorian red lower. The interior is one open plan room, now the former rooms have been ripped out, around a central island serving bar. The wood bar itself giving a dim and distant reminder of the age of the place. The decor is white and coffee, with a part wood floor by the karaoke area. There is a punchbag machine, that wasnt switched on and a few TVs that were showing horse racing. The whole place is depressing - there was hardly any beer on, so i had half of poor Guinness, which i couldn't drink. The service was functional and a clientele from the slough of depond. Cerberus guards the door.
