Ultra-trendy country dining pub, refurbished, modern and catering for upmarket diners after a pub experience. Opened up into one space though devided by pillars in areas, there is a bar area to the right as you walk in where you can happily just have a drink, and a long seating area to the left for diners. There is background jazzy music that just appeared to be one continuous track. This will not be everybodies cup of tea but I found it pleasant and relaxed. The clientelle is both new rich and old rich if you know what I mean. They had 8 real ales, although these all appeared to be from Thwaites so I presume it has some sort of tie here. The beer was nice.
