The Junction, Oldbury

A coerner pub in Georgian style, half in undressed brick and half in green, with a small patio area. The interior has just a single slightly L-shaped room that i saw which was in white and wood panel, with some undressed brick, along with a wood floor. It has a brick hearth feature at one end, along with some chopped wood and there is a dart board and a pool table. A few old photographs and prints hung on the walls and there were a few TVs, one a large pull down screen, but none of them were on. The service was fine and the clientele seemed locals really. The music was mixed and at a decent level. Beer; all tap stuff, with no MILD or real ale. Had Guinness, which was fine as Guinness goes. Nothing for the real ale fan and less so for me as a MILD drinker, but i found the place a pleasant enough basic pub.
