The Tenth Lock, Brierley Hill

A large detached, slightly strange shaped, pub, in light render, with beer patio. The interior is open plan, with various coloured walls, mainly red and green, with wood panel, as well as a snazzy carpet - it looks like a foody gastropub kind of place, despite being a Banks's pub. There was a nice large wood bar, with tiled fireplace, and there was pool, darts and Sky TV. Decoration was suplied by a few sporty pictures, 1966 and all that. Service was fine, clientele small. Beer; tap stuff, with a decent enough Banks's MILD and there was Brakspear Bitter on handpull. Fine for a game of darts, just not really worth the trouble if wanting real ale or a traditional kind of place. I dont think i would bother again.
