The Village Inn, Birmingham

One of the leading Gay Village bars, and this looks well maintained both inside and out. Lots of events advertised, but the place was completely deserted on my brief Wednesday evening stop. Spangly decoration and a limited amount of modern furniture in and around the bar area. No real ale, and just three keg offerings - Carling (£3.10), Stella and Strongbow - from the various founts.

Gay-friendly pub and dancing bar, stripped wood floor, dark table/chairs/lighting, 1/2 dark wood panelling/1/2 painted walls. Modern fit out, large tellies for videos and effects. There is outside seating at the front & rear. No real ale.
