A town centre white and timber framed terraced Charles Wells pub The interior has two rooms; a bar/lounge and a 'games/quiet' room. The L shaped bar/lounge was generally in white, with a TV showing the Cheltenham festival (hence we moved into the other room). The bar had a mural on the wall seemingly showing Warwick folk. The games room, in crimson with a brick fireplace and wood floor had chess and other board games, but was a lot quieter. The service was fine, even when we returned our initial pints - the barrel swiftly changing. The clientele seemed a mature mix and the music, supplied by the radio, was at a decent level. There were planty of ceiling and support beams giving the place a touch of the historic feel. Beer; tap stuff, with Wells' Bombardier and a decent enough IPA - its just not really to my taste. The guest that we had to return was Castle Rock Elsie Mo. I liked this place, and was please to go despite Wells not being my favourite brewery. Try it!
