The Horseshoes @ The Rugby Hotel, Rugby

The Rugby Hotel is a large white painted hotel,the public bar to this hotel is called The Horseshoe,it is on the right side of the building,go through the main entrance the bar is through the first door on the right. Once in this room the bar faces,there were four normal tables and chairs in the bar area,plus a few leather settees to the left,the room is bare boarded,there was a seperate lounge area down a step to the rear left,this room was carpeted and had leather settees. There was one real ale on the bar,this was Doom Bar which was a decent enough drink but slightly too warm,there was some decent background music playing which helped to create a bit of an atmosphere,a good job because i was the only customer in on my Saturday dinner visit,i asked the young barmaid if gets any busier later,she said "not really". This is quite a pleasant and comfortable bar,shame about the lack of custom. Pub visited 12/7/2014
