The Broom Tavern is a bare brick brick built pub with exposed wood beams,the front door to this pub is out of use,you have to enter via the car park. Once inside there is a single oblong shaped room,the bar is to the front left,the room is bare boarded,the seating was bench type to the front right,and tables and chairs to the rear,there is a seperate dining area to the rear with all tables laid out. There were four real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Purity Gold which was quite a nice drink,the other beers were Purity Mad Goose,Dorothy Goodbodys Barrel of Laughs and Doom Bar. There was some background music playing. We felt slightly uncomfortable in this pub,not sure why though. Pub visited 10/5/2014
