The Royal Oak, New Malden

Things have changed a bit since the previous reviews. It remains a lovely multi-roomed building retaining a small public bar then through a low opening into larger saloon then on to eating areas. The beer range is good, majoring on Hogs Back TEA plus a couple of local brews I failed to note. Service attentive to full pints and we were asked if we were Camra members without prompting. We were there for a function upstairs, for which they catered very well, but even without us the pub seemed popular with the locals on a Friday lunchtime. Definitely worth a look if you find yourself in the area.
