The Plough & Harrow, Cannock

September 2008 The Plough & Harrow at Hill Top used to be a bit of a dump and a little uninviting to say the least. But not any more! The pub received a complete overhaul earlier this year, and since then the car park has nearly always been full. So last night (Thursday 4th Sept), a friend and I decided to pay a visit, and we were both pleasantly surprised. The food was very good indeed, with my friend stating that she had just eaten the best Hunters Chicken that she had ever tasted. My Stuffed Salmon with Champagne Sauce was equally just as delicious. At around £7 per dish, we also thought it was excellent VFM. So don't drive by this litle forgotten pub anymore. Venture inside for a meal and you will not be disappointed.
