The Bridge, Cannock

Pleasant pub in Hightown area, short walk from station. Open plan with comfortable seating and stools, its a little bit of a local feel rather than a pub trying to capture passing trade for the food. But it is friendly, though I have a certain bias as it used to be my local. Pool table and Sky TV, though careful for any clash with football losing out to live entertainment. Occasional live music, they now appear to have added a second, more unusual guest ale - Brew Dog The Physics when I visited. Outside seating at front by main road, or the smoking area next to the car park. Worth a visit if in the area
