The Eldon House, Clifton, Bristol

The Eldon House is a decent looking pub that is up a steep hill from Hotwell Road. Once inside the bar faces in a small oblong shaped room,the floor is bare boarded,there is bench seating and small stools for seating,there is an extension to the left which has normal tables and chairs. There were four real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Otter Amber,which was a nice drink,the other real ales noted were Saltaire Pale Ale,St Austell HSD and Bath Ales Jem. Decent background music was playing. I had a chat with the friendly barmaid. I quite took to this pub. Pub visited 15/7/2017
