Walnut Tree, Peterborough

The Walnut Tree is a smallish looking pub. Once inside there was a long narrow room which ran to the rear of the pub,the bar was on the left side,the room was carpeted and there was 1 step up to the rear area,the seating was normal tables and chairs. There was a tv at the far end of the pub showing football,there were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Shepherd Neame Spitfire which was a very nice drink,the other beers were London Pride and Bombardier. This is a locals pub that had a good lively atmosphere. We quite liked this pub and would have happily had a few more drinks here if not on a pub crawl. Pub visited 20/4/2013
